Nothing brings perspective regarding how blessed we are to have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and the ability to take care of the basic necessities of life than witnessing the humble & downtrodden with their hands out in heartfelt gratitude for a hot meal and some shelter. How fortunate we are and how thankful we should be! It was bitter cold and wet today but there was no other place we would have rather been. We had the opportunity to serve with hockey players from the Anaheim Ducks organization and some of Anaheim’s finest. To see the community come together to remember and serve the less fortunate was a beautiful thing!
